ABOUT THE TRAINER

Jacquewyn F. Chambers-Martin has put her fingers in the dirt with research projects in the jungles of Suriname, on the ancient sites of Pompeii and (former) Herculaneum, along with green swamp archaeological projects in Virginia.

Academic studies and degrees include a B.A. in Anthropology with a focus in material and non-material architectural culture and economies, graduate studies in Public Policy, certificates in American Foreign Policyand Practices and Theory in Terrorism, and Business Administration with studies in Global Management. Studies in computer science enhance her theoretical approach in academic instruction, implementing algorithm prisms to re-focus the client in their language acquisition efforts.

Jacquewyn believes work should be balanced with play, enjoying athletic activities and being outdoors as being essential to mental and physical health. The great outdoors is therefore, also the great playground, with avid team activities in outrigger canoe and dragon boat race competitions, while using 5k races, triathlons, and 62-floor stair-climb races for cross-training.

Teaching English as a foreign language comes with the personal experiences of learning languages as well. She speaks German and a little Dutch (still learning). There is the interest to learn Japanese and Russian.

ABOUT GLOBAL ELOCUTION Training

GLOBAL ELOCUTION Training uses intercultural and linguistic insight to detect and work toward modifying pronunciation to produce more effective English in speech and grammar

GET creates appropriate and customized ways to address and affect your speech so that the common goal of construction, pronunciation, and confidence in speaking are always the focal points.

In every course of GET's language learning program, pronunciation will be a part of that training. Some lingusitics habits require certain phonemes to be applied more carefully and sharper. Some linguistic habits require more focus on the end of the word. And still, there are some linguistic habits requiring shifting stresses, rhythm, and pace. No matter from what native language your accent comes, when English is spoken very clearly, your accent actually enhances the English form!

With GET, pronunciation and elocution are the primary targets to work with, modify, and perfect!

OUR VISION

GLOBAL ELOCUTION Training's program is designed to provide a foundation for successful speaking to those who are foreign speakers, or the native English speaker who wants to improve elocution ~ speech delivery.

GET's goals are to develop and deliver strategies for applying and retaining new speaking skills associated with being a speaker of English. Two of the greatest challenges th learner will face are grammar and pronunciation. GET ensures the learner will experience a new way of learning English; letting your brain create the new English is has the capability of doing - no matter your age!

We ensure you will gain the inforgettable learning experience in this unique journey of language learning.
